Capture Log Stain is the pigmented part of a two-part system: An extremely effective, attractive stain followed by a clear, weather-repellent topcoat called Cascade.

If you select any of the lighter colors of Capture Log Stain (Almond Bark, Natural, Wheat, or Bronze Pine) for best durability, we recommend two heavily applied coats, followed by one coat of Cascade. One coat of Capture Log Stain can perform very well if it is sprayed heavily and then immediately and vigorously back-brushed.

Cascade provides added exterior protection against damaging UV rays. It dries with a modest sheen and adds depth to the appearance of stained logs.
